Do you remember
The twenty first night of September?
Love was changing the minds of pretenders
While chasing the clouds away
It was THE perfect day, the twenty first of September, when Claire, Greg and their families hosted their wedding reception at Claire’s family home, a beautiful apple orchard set amongst the hills of South Glastonbury, Connecticut.
Claire & Greg had a lovely wedding ceremony with personalized readings (one even from West Side Story well delivered by a close friend) at the First Church of Christ in Glastonbury, Connecticut. String music for the ceremony were provided by musicians from Claire’s alma mater Yale University.
Claire’s family made apple cider was enjoyed by all and made special for adults with bourbon if you pleased. To top off the night guests had local pizza and apple chips made by Claire & her Mother.
Flowers went above and beyond traditional decorations with adding to a flower garden arch and the upper barn balcony. Not to mention the custom garlands made for the family golf cart – all created by Paul David from The Flower District in Glastonbury, Connecticut.
All photos were taken by the extremely talented MKD Photography based out of New Hampshire. Claire & Greg adored their photos as Mike & Kate took wedding photos for several other friends and really captured candid moments happening throughout those events – we couldn’t agree more! Not only did the capture the candids, but the details.
Remember! How we knew love was here to stay
Now December found the love we shared in September
Only blue talk and love, remember
How the true love was here to stay
Lyrics thanks to the great Earth, Wind & Fire!
